Meet Ms. Wright
Welcome!
Thanks for taking time out of your day to visit my website. I'm so happy you stopped by!
My name is Ms. Wright. I am so blessed to be entering my second year of teaching at Harrisburg South Middle School! I have greatly enjoyed my time within the Harrisburg community! It is a joy to witness the involvement, kindness, and value of education that you hold. I look forward to continue working with, learning from, and watching our future scholars grow into the impactful individuals they are born to be!
I have a passion for helping people, learning, traveling, and supporting our nation's armed services- to name a few! These four passions merge perfectly into the opportunity to teach middle school Social Studies, which helps open the eyes, hearts, and minds of my students. Students are then able to see that they can be the change, even within our small town USA!
My goal as a Social Studies teacher is to help all students realize their potential, foster an interest in the world, and help create a greater global awareness of the world around us. Social Studies, I believe, is the most important subject in school. It helps build character, inspires kindness and self-image, expands the mind, and shapes the hearts of many. I am beyond excited to build a cultural environment this upcoming year with you, but more importantly, to get to know each one of you and help you believe in yourself as a person.
I hope you are ready for a great year together at HSMS! Go Tigers!
Please go to the 'Contact Ms. W' tab with any of your questions, concerns, or just to say hi! :)
See you soon and thanks again for stopping by!
Take care,
Ms. W
